Home Staging
Home staging sells properties, and with so much competition out there, your property needs to stand out from the crowd.
To stage a home means you are dressing a house to look it’s very best for the purpose of putting it on the market. We often work with properties that are ex-rental or unoccupied and may have received very little interest so far.
We view each property as though we are a potential buyer and consider who that buyer might be i.e. a growing family, retired couple, or maybe young professionals. We look at what improvements can be made to ensure the property is visually appealing. Then we implement changes, using existing furniture and accessories as much as possible. This can be supplemented by hiring stylish furniture and accessories from Fushia Design. These items may remain in situ for the duration of the marketing period.
Any changes we make will be with a view to increasing the desirability and perceived value of the property. They say that a buyer can decide if they are going to sign on the dotted line within 8 minutes of seeing a property. That means that every minute needs to count, so from the moment they walk through the door, to the moment they leave, your property needs to smile and welcome them in.

Home Staging (virtual)
Fushia Design offers a “virtual” staging service, which means we use computer generated imagery to dress an empty room or a complete house. We look at each room in the same way we would with on-site staging, but this time, it’s only online.
It’s so difficult to look at empty rooms on the internet and decide if your king size bed would fit into the bedroom. No matter what kind of property you have, a starter home , a cosy cottage or a new build in glass and chrome, we have furniture and accessories to suit.
Virtual staging is often used by clients selling ex-rental, refurbished or even probate properties. It really helps buyers to visualize how their own furniture would fit into the rooms. It’s a brilliant method of attracting buyers, increasing viewing numbers and selling more quickly.
Home Styling
If you’re an architect, an estate agent or a kitchen designer that just needs a room, or several rooms styled for a shoot, then Fushia Design can assist.
We will discuss the look or lifestyle you’d like to achieve, and then decide what accessories are required in the property to create the vision you have in mind. As professional home stylists, we will notice and eliminate where possible, the things that shouldn’t be in your pictures and enhance the best features. Whether it’s a dramatic or minimalist look you want, Fushia Design will work with you to achieve this.
